Duchess Bridal Satin is a luxurious and classic wedding gown fabric. It has a good weight to it which gives gowns made of this fabric a very regal appearance. Soft Bridal Satin
is similar to Duchess Bridal Satin, but is a slightly lighter weave.
This is desirable to minimize the weight of the gown and give the
fabric more movement. This fabric is smoother to the touch and has
more shine than Duchess Bridal Satin. This is our most popular

is our shiniest, slinkiest Satin. It catches the light beautifully. It
has a slight stretch to it which makes it very light and
comfortable to wear. We line our gowns very well so you don't need to

Silky Taffeta is a lightweight fabric with a slight shine and some natural surface texture. This fabric is beautiful when pleated on the bodice, and drapes beautifully for flowing skirts. If you are looking for a lot of volume yet a light-as-a-feather gown, Silky Taffeta is for you! Taffeta is the type of fabric that makes a slight rustling sound when it swishes. The sound is called "scroop". The scroop of Silky Taffeta is just slight since it is quite soft and finely woven. Available in White, Ivory and Champagne. See a gown made of White Silky Taffeta. Dream Chiffon is a light and semi-transparent fabric with a very flowing drape and no shine. It is conducive to layering and gives a very romantic and classic effect. Chiffon is only available in a few selected styles since a gown needs to be designed specifically for this delicate fabric. Chiffon is always layered on top of another fabric due to the transparency. We always layer over one of our Taffetas or Satins, not "lining" grade material that many other manufacturers use. Available in White, Ivory and Champagne. Organza is a light fabric with a very fine weave. It also gives a floaty effect, but without the movement of chiffon. Organza is also shinier giving a very subtle sparkly effect. You are probably most familiar with organza from wedding favor bags! We use a finer, higher quality organza for our wedding gowns, however. Similar to Chiffon, Organza is always layered on top of another fabric due to the transparency. Available in White, Ivory and Champagne.

Tulle is best described as "veil" fabric. It is a crisp mesh used as a design element in selected gowns, usually in the skirt. There are different types of tulle, some coarser and some finer, depending on how it is used.
English Net is
similar to tulle, but has a softer texture making it appropriate to be next to your skin as a beaded sheer element in a design. It can be used as an illusion neckline, for instance, or sheer beaded straps.

Why Not Upgrade to a Pure Silk Fabric?
Duchess Silk Satin
is the most luxurious bridal fabric there is. It is ultra-smooth in texture, with medium body, and lighter than both our Satins. If your budget can accommodate it, it is well worth the extra expense. Available in Silk White, Ivory and Light Champagne.
Silk Charmeuse is
a pure silk that you may think of as a "silk blouse" type of fabric. It drapes beautifully, it is very thin, shiny and ultra-luxurious to the touch.. Works best for flowing designs. Sometimes used layered under silk chiffon.
Silk Dupion is a high-quality raw silk. It has small natural imperfections called "slubs" that give it a random subtly ribbed texture.
Quite matte in appearance and medium weight with a "stiff" drape. Available in Silk White and Ivory.
Silk Taffeta is a pure silk version of our "Silky Taffeta" with a few differences. It has a very fine ribbed texture, and it is a stiffer fabric. It is very lightweight like Silky Taffeta and more matte in appearance. Available in White and Ivory.
Silk Chiffon is
a pure silk version of our "Dream Chiffon". It is even lighter and has a finer weave making it tend to float more while being more luxurious to touch. Available
in White and Ivory.
